Thank you. I hope they all bring it out when it's needed!Thank you so much for all the reports, Doggygirl!
I think Doggygirl meant Elene Gedevanishvili, not Elena Radionova.

Well, a contusion is a contusion. Doctors usually subscribe total peace and rest for that, which means lying in bed at least for some days. I guess it's possible to skate with a contusion if your head doesn't hurt like hell and/or you are not dizzy both of which is possible with a contusion, but it's still not a good idea if one doesn't want to risk the situation getting worse.
Ups, you are right, I mixed that up (and I even know the word 'concussion' ). Thanks for correcting. And sorry for providing incorrect information, everyone else.I think some of you may be mixing up "contusion" and "concussion". "Contusion" is just the medical term for "bruise". How serious is depends on where it is, how severe it is and whether/how much it interferes with performance.
Doggygirl!!!!!! Yay! Welcome back! Post often, post long!
So worried about Elena, I hope she skates clean when the actual competition happens...
Russians looked very refined as well. But yuko is tiny! I knew she was small but her legs are like sticks! It's a little scary to watch actually...
I was only dreaming of practice today! (aka slept in!)
