Sota, Marin, Satoko, Rika, Yuhana and Wakaba spotted on the news this week, taking the obligatory lecture class required for athletes who receive funding from JSC.

If I were sitting where Sota, Marin and Satoko are sitting, I think I'd be staring at Uchimura the whole time (which is what Sota is probably doing on the first pic ).

Very excited for Sota, Mai, Wakaba and Yura's GP debuts
Relieved and happy that Yuka and Keiji got 2 assignments too Please don't bomb.
I wonder who'll get the TBD at NHK for Pairs. Hopefully Narumi/Ryo or Ami/Spencer.

This facebook page says Haruka is finished with getting her new choreographies done.

Haruka having lunch with …Phillip Mills? According to the comments it’s him. I didn’t recognize him with the scruffier-than-usual look. Not that I know what he usually looks like outside the K&C.

I still see skaters like Yuka Nagai and Kanako on the A list even though they have 2 GP assignments so I'm guessing there'll be more changes coming unless they've changed the criteria.

I think Haruka will continue until 2018 because she said she’s aiming to make the Olys team when she moved to Niigata and the Niigata Fed is sponsoring her. It’s too bad she didn’t get any GP assignments. I kind of wish they held off giving Yura NHK until after she skated at Rostelecom Cup to give others a chance. I wonder which competition Haruka will enter. I’d love to see her Phillip Mills program/s.

Keiji's new FS is "Fellini Medley" and he's apparently comical in it.

No new programs from Wakaba or Satoko hwell:

Yuna Shiraiwa is injured and only did double jumps. I hope she gets a later JGP assignment.

Sota only did easy jumps as well thank goodness.

At least Satoko talked about her new programs. Her SP is a waltz choreographed by Lori Nichol and her FS is a "cosmic-like" medley of music from Star Wars, Jupiter and so on. Choreographed by Tom Dickson.
