Some Korean fans were criticizing Satoko since the GP. They seem way too preoccupied with speed and height because delicate skating and nuanced choreo seem go unnoticed.

Anyway, a biellman position comparison for Li, Park, Gold, and Miyahara: https://twitter.com/cat_said/status/565383841087782912
and your point? neither of the 2 repo commented on nuanced/delicate choreo/skating, they are mainly about speed (and their disagreement is about that)... And are you sure Korean fans only care about speed and height, because, I think one of Yuna's strength is nuance and delicacy... speed/height is not the opposite of nuance/delicacy. you can have both...

so touching. showed, ice coverage, the pattern they created on ice and their body language so well.

really beautiful!! how lucky those audiences are and how jealous i am

:love:Being able to understand the lyrics (the song basically says "I'll always be with you") makes the program even more magical, I can't wait to see it in competition!!

i am following figure skating for a year now (thanks yuzuru :hijacked:), so i dont know much about them but from what i can see they are gonna prove everyone that 4CC and world spot arent wasted on them

I'm already in love with this program. even without any big tricks! That dual spread eagle at 0:28 is just'heavenly'!!!:love:
I really wish them to win another World title in Shanghai, for one last time and to close their glorious competitive career in front of their home crowd in March! :yay:

yes its beautiful, and takahiko also uses this music for his LP (and its amazing)but when you use this for pairs program its like it comes to life and they are doing great as far as i can see

Denis Ten practice FS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNJ_WQ0EA5I

Looking good, but with Denis you never know what is going to happen

these are the things reminds me when I was watching this clip: taiji, drunken fist, playing pipa behind back. Condor heros, hand signs and Yuna's homage of Korea (actually some of the tension highlight note in the beginning perhaps could use some of Yuna's throw arm movement in HoK to make it fuller  ).

here is a video about playing pipa behind back

So wish Denis can skate this program well, so that we will have another masterpiece about oriental music/culture/style in figure skating. so rare!!
One of my dream is that, in the future, choreographers (perhaps young skaters from Oriental countries for now) can integrate more and more oriental dance/style/spirit/essence in figure skating.:biggrin:

Pang and Tong FP practice, and thanks everyone for reports! are there any news from ladies??

you can see Peng and Zhang quad twist at 2:55 as well
 I've made up my mind on lyrics: Keep them for pairs, take them out of singles.

The part where they're both performing spirals, and she drifts away from him... After seeing these clips, I'm a lot less worried about them. Maybe they won't have the stamina for a clean LP at this point, but they still have all their big tricks and should be ready by Worlds.

Any news on how the other Chinese pairs are doing? Will P/Z or S/H try a quad throw?
