I'm so confused by this competition. Wasn't the other SP earlier today? Do we have any news on how it went?

Afaik Jason will be in the finals, starting shortly (ice remake atm). He skipped the semi-final.

ETA IFS just tweeted that Jason "two-footed an attempted quad & fell on combo". But I think they think they are referring to the jump contest and that can't be correct. They probs mean the SP since they're saying that Nathan Chen won and he's only just qualified for the final 15 minutes ago. This is sooooo annoying.

Also, surprised at how many folks are viewing videos on mobile devices these days, and the Jason video is no different:



Unsurprisingly, most viewers are running Windows (56%), followed by Android (18%), iOS (17%), and then Macintosh at a paltry 8%.

Got a handful of views from folks running Linux.

Oddly enough, as of a few weeks ago, I never seem to find GoldenSkate listed as an External Traffic Source to my videos, but obviously a lot of traffic originates from here. I still see FSU, fsonline.ru, vk.com, twitter, etc...

Obviously this data is not entirely empirical, though it would suggest that Jason has a nice fan-base in South Korea, even Russia too. The views from Japan were rather low, despite most of my overall channel traffic being Japanese.

Gosh, Google can even tell I'm a Mac household. I better go watch some more to beef up the numbers. And no one over 55 in South Korea? Good thing there are 13% of us from the US...

Half asleep from long day, awkward posting on phone. Jump contest was odd and had chaos but was fun, needs more organization. Jason did try quad, not great but h was still having fun. Better half fled, no promise on quality. Did land beautiful 3a+1/2l+3s+3t. Also another 3a salcalw combo

Also max did the 4s+1/2+3s I have been wanting to see. Mariah is adorable but my better half thins she Looks like the daughter from American beauty. Will give more later. Also Mirai looks out for blood on the 3a. Good for her. Caught her staring daggers of determination.


Edit better half filmed liked with his phone he did not fled. Bad typo.

Also polina is really getting gorgeous! I saw her a few months agoand was surprised, but even more so now.

Miyu is just visiting for the summer (though everyone wishes she would stay...and bring her coaches--who are equally fantastic and visited for a short time as well--with her)...Christina Cleveland and Ashley Shin are permanently KoRo. Jason trains both the quad toe and sal...he's been working hard on them with jump specialist Vincent Restencourt who is now part of the KoRo team...both jumps are progressing and get a bit closer every day; he does train with the quad sal in his short program. For Jr/Sr men, team KoRo has Jason, Jordan, and Luke (West); Alex (Zahradnicek) came with Vincent. For Jr/Senior women team Koro has Mariah, Christina, Ashley, Tyler...both Ellison sisters and a few others have just moved up to the Jr. level. The KoRo team has about 9 or 10 Intermediate/Novice ladies...and only a handful of lower level skaters (7K is top-heavy so to speak).
