I didn't see his performance because there was no stream so I just looked at the live score and it seems he did a quad.

Dmitri barely beat him in the FS, but Deniss beat them both there...so I guess everyone made mistakes? Good podium though.

Congrats Sota! And Deniss for getting the highest pcs! It's so weird that he didn't qualify for jgpf, haha. Good job, junhwan, too bad about the pop but still very impressive performance and scores for a first year junior. Pretty consistent kid.

Per his coach, he had a growth spurt that is affecting the stability of his jumps. I also think he is a better performer than last season.

good job Jun!!! i dont care what protocols says, he held it together (except for pop) at his 1st big international competition!!! and his PCS is pretty high, not that he doesnt deserve it (i think he does :luv17 but you never know what judges are gonna do when they see the skater for 1st time, cant wait to see him at JW!!! :hap57:

and very sad for my little chaplin :sad21: but i am sure he will be back stronger :yes:

Well, Sadovsky is not competing at JW this year, Nadeau is due to his great skates at Nationals, but he's too old for YOG, so I guess Canada decided to spread the wealth and send different men to YOG and JW.

But I agree about the top 3. With Nathan out the title should be wide open. If Samohin competes there he'll be in the mix as well.
