So happy for Shoma~ And he was so close to beating Hanyu ^_^
I am also very happy for Jin Boyang. He deserves some recognition for his efforts this season especially for Spiderman~

gee they went to ad before showing his place

I know, how stupid....stupid stupid stupid coverage this year.

Happy for the Chinese figure skater!!! He deserved it.

If only Shoma had been a bit more careful with his landings he would have won!

Whelp I'm off to finally watch this legendary skate everyone is saying Hanyu did since I missed it. From the little I have seen of this competition this was so much better than the tragedy that was ladies yesterday. Also, so happy that Nathan and Jason got the US Men 3 spots back! Were going to need them because my bb Joshua is coming back and he NEEDS to be on the Olympic team.

So besides Patrick being underscored in PCS I think the judges did a very good job today and nobody has issues with placements?

If my maths is correct Jorik is just one placement short of qualifying Belgium for the olympics :( I'm sure he'll manage it at Nebelhorn but *stress*.

I called this back at the beginning of the season. No one beats a clean Hanyu.

Sad about Patrick and Javier. Neither seemed to stressed out about it. A lot less crying in the men's event thank God.

So happy for Shoma. Shoma! Much love for Shoma.

Well that was an overall enjoyable competition compared to the ladies.

That thread is somewhat poisonous :shock2:

I feel so serene watching this competition. It's not like I don't care, I still cry or get happy or sad over performances, but the overall experience is so much better

3 spots for the US men and Brendan finishes 15th and qualifies an Olympic spot.

That's everything I wanted out of the men's event so I'm fairly satisfied.

According Robin, he counted 42 quads in the mens competition.

OMG HE MISSED THE PODIUM!!!!!!!!!!!

ICE IS SLIPPERY!!!!

Hanyu is going bizerk with his plushy #1 gesture, BOYANG BRONZE!!!!
4x over 300s+, not bad not bad at all guys!!! Possibly the greatest ever event?

Pity Javier were not able to do his best, but I am really happy with the podium, except may be Patrick should get 96+ PCS

Wow 42 quads, that's amazing!

And what gesture?! My stream decided to die and I missed the end!

So sad for Javi, but a bronze for Spiderboyang! :peace:

I was unable to watch the ladies FS live. But the comments I read just in this Men FS forum about it are making me trepidatious :handw::laugh:
