or the best =)
i think they are being totally awesome supporting OAR

They are the only figure skating fans I have seen that cheer when non Russian teams mess up and cheer over other teams scores - it’s rude

I like the Shibs, but honestly their score here is honestly fair enough. The program itself is nice, the Levels are fine, but their skating skills, interpretation, choreography are not on Tessa and Scott's level. The difference is obvious.

Personally disagree. 75 is low for that performance, especially with V/M breaking 80. V/M are technically better, but that program is so boring. The Shibs were at least engaging. Maybe I'm just not big on ice dance, but I don't think the difference is obvious. There are 3 or 4 teams I would watch over V/M (short program). Just personal opinion though.

I couldn't disagree with you more. I never get a smug vibe off him in interviews, they are both always so appreciative of their competitors.

It's actually funny that people think this because Scott has a very self-deprecating sense of humor. So self-deprecating that I almost want him to hype himself up sometimes.

They makes a good point about these teams having Olympic experience before the event. Not only are they used to being on Olympic ice but their used to skating early in the morning. They can fire up the adrenaline and get into the zone. The question is will that be enough to give V/M the gold.

Interesting scores. Similar results in the individual could have B/S edging out the Shibs after both halves.

Compared to Sochi this Team event's is kinda sad. It's so early very few skaters cheering in the K&C

Ummm... You see 'smug look', I see confidence he is carrying himself with, which is justified based on the level of their skating and preparation. The look of confidence that suits him very much I would say and makes this SD even more fabulous in reception as a sole performance (not really talking about concept here) than some people would ever admit.
But to each on their own, they sure did not come there to please everyone with their faces or attitude.

There's sometimes a fine line between arrogance and confidence, but hey, whatever they're doing it's working, more power to them

No Russian judges or tech specialists and still B/S almost beat S/S here. Interesting......

Scores low across the board but it's concerning that BoboSol are so close to the Shibs. RIP Maia & Alex's individual medal.

Expected results. Something also goes wrong for Anna and Luca on the final lift :confused2:

Or the Shibs will defy everyone's expectations again and bring it when it counts.
