Hello, do we know why Matilda WD? I hope she is not injured :(

Matilda had a really bad result at the Cup of Tyrol last weekend (#15/18 with 112.86 points), only her 3Lo was fully rotated and without fall. So she's probably not in her better shape and the federation prefered to send Anita?

Just read from an local magazine, www-site: Emmi herself had wanted to think about it for a while. She will go to Japan.

Edit: it is official now.

Oh it was Fed decision. I am a bit sad because I'd have liked to see Matilda, it would have been her first World's! I like Anita as well, hope she does well at World's!

Ladies' SP is in 10 days, so close. Time for my wishlist:
My top 5:
1. Rika Kihira
2. Alina Zagitova
3. Elizabet Tursynbaeva
4. Kaori Sakamoto
5. Satoko Miyahara

I like exceptional tech contents, and the top 3 have exceptional tech content and BV. The top 4 will be the best technically if they hit their elements cleanly, the 5th is the best artist.
If the placements are differents with the same skaters i'm Ok too.
The fact that this podium would infuriate Tarasova and half of twitter is a bonus.

I want to see three clean 3As from Rika, so she would join Mao Asada.
I want to see a clean quad from Tursynbaeva, so she would be the first senior to land a clean quad.
I want Loena Hendrickxx healthy and in the top 10 again.

I would like Alina to skate clean, or at least a clean free program, and for Elizabet to skate clean and land her 4S. That’s all I ask for [emoji24]

I am seriously considering taking leave for this, I can't teach with my nerves frazzled to no end

Edit: Used leave, I'm watching this with Fluffette clutched in my arms

Wow, this is nearly as big as Jr. Worlds! I’ll be in class for the entire competition, probably with my laptop while the professor drones on and on.

I would like to see Evgenia continue her trend of strengthening her performances, showing her skating love, and building confidence on her current path.

It’s crazy to think that a 2 time world champion and Olympic silver medalist, just last season is considered a long shot for making the podium.

If she skates clean, I wonder what the judges will do?

1.Rika Kihira with 12 triples
2.Elizabeth Tursynbaeva wih 4 sal
3.don't care who take bronze

skaters who push boundary should be rewarded.

it's 30 years from Midori Ito landed 6 different triples at world championships.

3Lz era is too long, it should be over.
