Now, what I wanted to ask - I think I saw it mentioned in one blog that Champery is closed as part of the safety precautions. Is it true, and does anyone know if Shoma would stay in Switzerland in that case, or return to Japan?

Yes, the rink in Champery is closed. I'm not sure if the professional skaters still had access at first (so closed only to public) but I doubt they have anymore since everything is closing down in a lot of European countries. In Itsuki's cat posts love he mentioned something that Shoma's coming home soon. Again, a lot of airlines are cancelling flights so if he needs to go home then he probably has left already. Maybe Itsuki will pity us and post something soon .

My thoughts are that Sho is back in Japan. It could be that he and his Mom may be in a 2 week quarantine. I am not sure what Japan’s restrictions are but most countries are enforcing anyone entering the country from a hot spot to self quarantine.

Japan is requiring non-citizens to quarantine upon entry from Switzerland/Schengen and I'm sure there are restrictions for citizens b/c the travel site I read says this is a fluid situation and conditions that apply one day may not apply the next.

I did my part and have watched it several laugh2: :dance times. Hats off to Shae Lynn for her choreography, Shoma for his amazing skating, and Stephane for his inspiring of Shoma.
