She has to wait Maia. Didn't she just get back to Russia? She might have to quarantine for 14 days,

Anyway it sounds like Zhenya is not any worse for wear going to Japan and being stuck there.

Yes I know. I mean that I hope the Canadian border opens on July 31 and Russian citizens are allowed to enter which don't seem likely and that she can leave Russia which is also difficult. That would be the earliest we can expect right now.

I LOVE these pictures. That look of utter focus/concentration on her face. Gives me chills. My favorites are the fourth one, the one where she’s smiling during the choreo sequence and the one where Brian‘s watching her. And of course the last one, just radiating happiness after a brilliant skate. Yeah, they‘re all my favorites. :laugh:

They are all my favorites. But I think I like the first and last best. ;)

This is so great for many reasons.
CSKA was her first rink and she enjoyed skating there last year.
With the pandemic, we don't know how traveling and this season will go. Buyanova may be at the boards for her at test skates and Nationals.

I'm not sure it's wise for her to go to Canada in August, quarantine for 2 weeks and then fly back to Russia for test skates and have to quarantine again. Probably better to go to Canada after test skates.
