I love A&R. They are so unique. Love their programs also. Rogonov was a bit frantic today, he really throw her badly good that she hanged there. Her costume is beautiful.

I'm overall their fan - they not be technically best pair out there, but they are very cute and have some original elements (for example their spin) unlike many other pairs.
It is great S/K bailed Worlds lols, it was such an opportunity for A/R

They are getting better, though - consider how they skated in the Cup of St Petersburg, and the test skates; hopefully they can keep up the improvement for the LP as well. And then continue to improve as the season progresses.

Yup =)
While this year the field is too deep for them to have any solid chances, hey are still pretty young and have lots of opportunities to grow.

:thumbsup: Yes, they have actually gotten a lot better/more consistent technically or at least it is starting to seem that way... it would be great to continue to see forward progress for them!

I think Alexei was in a hurry today. :biggrin:

Couldn't wait to throw her. You should always wait for the partner because the timing is crucial. These are Pair elements though and they are a new Pair, need more time. They are getting better and better. The chemistry and the uniqueness is there and that's something you just can't teach. They deserve better PCS.

I agree completely. They're always engaging to watch, and show great connection. Also, when she's in a lift, she looks like she's in heaven ! Like she loves the feeling of flying.

I think it's possible Gretchen just doesn't have the jump really- I have literally never that I can remember seen her land it cleanly, not with Bartholomay, not with Speroff.

Yep. Great lifts and spins also. She has a beautiful body and great flexibility.

Nate did 3T with his former partner, but I'm not sure about Gretchen. Landing the jumps seems to be her only real weakness. Maybe a jump specialist? And then ... to the stars.

Well, at least she didn't fall - in the LP it was almost amusing, after he threw her, and she fell, he'd lift his hands to his head. I almost thought they should try to claim it as on-purpose innovative choreograhpy - she is a doll that's clearly malfunctioning, right?

Definitely a double axel that I have seen her land at times, and the jump they are attempting (that I've never seen her land) is actually a triple toe, not salchow. I don't know if she's able to attempt a salchow. The truth is she is just not a great SBS jumper, and I agree it's a pity because she really is a beautiful skater and I think this team oozes potential.
