Daria Maksimovna Pavliuchenko (Russian: Дарья Максимовна Павлюченко, born in 31 December 2002 in Moscow) and Denis Sergeevich Khodykin (Russian: Денис Сергеевич Ходыкин, born in 6 July 1999 in Moscow) are a Russian pair couple. They are the 2020 European bronze medalists, the 2019 Internationaux de France, the 2021 Rostelecom Cup and the 2019 Skate America silver medalists, and the 2018 Grand Prix of Helsinki and 2018 Rostelecom Cup bronze medalists. They are two-time Russian National bronze medalists (2020, 2021).

As juniors, they earned the 2018 World Junior championship, and are 2017 Junior Grand Prix Final bronze medalists, and 2018 Russian national junior champions.

Daria was a single skater until 2014, and had been a pair skater only one season before teaming up with Denis (2016), but despite that, they finished 5th at the 2017 Russian Junior Nationals. Denis's former partner was Maria Bogoslavskaia (2015/2016 season).

They are coached by Sergei Dobroskokov and Sergei Rosliakov in Moscow.

It will be very interesting to see which teams will get the Russian JGP spots next season. The competition for the JGP spots is so fierce in Russia that it is possible that Daria & Denis will not get a JGP spot despite the fact that they were 5th at the Russian Junior Championships. The reason for this is that Kvartalova/Sviatchenko, who were behind them at the Nationals, has beat Pavlyuchenko/Khodykin twice after the Russian Junior Nationals and they have a quad twist which means that Russian Fed might very well choose Kvartalova/Sviatchenko over Pavlyuchenko/Khodykin. There are also two very good teams who didn't take part to the Russian Junior Nationals - Mishina/Gallyamov and Kudryavtseva/Simenenko. Mishina/Gallyamov haven't competed yet obviously but it is totally possible that they might get a JGP event next season. Kudryavtseva/Simenenko looks really great and they might very well get JGP event especially if they beat Pavlyuchenko/Khodykin next week at the Nationals Elder age.

They are present at the test skate event. Nowadays one can never be totally sure which pairs have splitted up and which aren't. One would think that they will most likely make it to the Russian JGP team now that so many Russian junior pairs have split up. The competition is still pretty tough though but not as tough as it would have been without all the split ups.

It looks like they will make their JGP debut at JGP Belarus. They might very well win there.

Daria & Denis has been assigned to JGP Croatia.

Their JGP events now are JGP Belarus and JGP Croatia which are held consecutive weeks. I don't get why Fed would want to sent them at consecutive events. They will only have like a day to rest after JGP Belarus and then they will have to fly to Croatia. Hopefully their 2nd assignment will be changed to last 4th pair's event.

So, now Daria & Denis have three JGP events - JGP Belarus, JGP Croatia and JGP Poland. Russian Fed is really good at this.

They were robbed! It must be gold on their neck. Their 2nd 3T somehow wasn't counted in a COMBO in protocols :furious: WHY?? They did it before and it was counted.. :tantrum: Judges refused to give them their 2nd gold medal this time

4th stage of Russian Cup. They did very well, even though they were only 4th (senior event).

SP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R35cCNhvkYY
FS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDPt_Nt77qU

They could very well win JGP Final if she lands her 3T+3T and they don't mess up anything else. Their domestic PCS scores are pretty low though. Now their FS PCS score was 3.5 points less than what Poluianova/Sopot got and 4.5 points less than what Mishina/Gallyamov got.

Glad they skated well. Interesting that their pcs is tha much lower than P/S; certainly not that kind of gap internationally. I agree that they could win finals. They seem to be quite consistent and they have the advantage of having both triples, not just a 2A and a triple.

Yes! They were so underscored!!
Harley FELL and yet they score higher than this wonderful performance? Yes there was a small error but still! I'm very bitter. They are one of my favorite pairs and they're so cute and adorable!

I am absolutely in love with their short. This could stand proudly with some of the senior pairs' programs- inspired music choice, great choreo, steps- the consistent levels 4s and high goe's on the stsq is stunning. How close they scored to the other 2 in the short despite having a fall on an element says it all; all level 4s plus highest pcs in that segment. The fs doesn't show their strengths nearly as well, but the talent is still obvious there too. They have the full package- a special connection, great ss, and best of all, she can do both triples. Hope they win jr worlds(well, jr nats first :p)
