Agree that Wakaba should have gotten second. Also agree that Weir deserves a whoopin' for that comment about Mariah. Her skating is definitely not "juniorish".

Yeah, I thought Wakaba deserved silver too...

BTW, I don't think she is trying to "hold" the fan spiral... I think the way she tips it over is deliberate choreography. She does it the same way every time. Looked pretty spectacular the first time I saw it, but she seems to have toned it down a little since then (it looks more controlled now, the way she does it is a bit less wild and risky...)
