Thank you Doris. There has been basically NO coverage of GP, other than skimpy NBC recaps. In past years OLYS channel and NBCSN had considerable coverage... I guess this is meant to force everyone to NBC Gold.

British Eurosport coverage hasn’t been great either this season compared to the last two seasons. They’re only showing the free skates for each GP Final and none of the short programs. It’s so annoying - I think they’re trying to force people to purchase the Eurosport player if they want to watch everything :-(

IceDancingQueen, I must admit coverage on NBC Gold is marvelous. If Eurosport player is as good, might be worth spending the bucks?

Sorry that this is only British Eurosport at the moment, but I kept getting interrupted this morning.

I have to say, the coverage on the linear TV channels is pathetic. No coverage of the Juniors. No coverage of any of the Senior Short Programmes. The only LIVE coverage is of the Ladies Free and the Gala.

Although, to be fair, there are highlights of all the Senior Frees. And, given that there are only 6 taking part in each category, they should be able to show everybody within the hour-long broadcasts.

I’ve started on ESP Deutschland, and the only difference so far is that they are not showing the highlights of the previous GP’s in the run up to the weekend. So, I am expecting the rest of the continental versions to be similar.

I have to say, I'm also an NBC Gold user, and I'm pretty happy with the service.

The eurosport player coverage has also been good imo. Better for the competitions taking place in europe and it was brodcast during the day but worth the 260 SEK i paid for two months.

Almost everything will be in the middle of the night for me/early morning (The short will be the night before an exam), except the ladies free, which will be late saturday night/midnight. I was counting on live stream, because i don´t have Eurosport player, so really don´t know where to rewatch it I won´t be able to see the shorts before friday afternoon. Seriously considering signing up for Eurosport player..... Watching single videos on Youtube afterwards just won´t be the same.

I guess this is what it´s like for you americans and canadians etc. when det other GP shows was in Europe and stuff. But, when it´s the final, you really wan´t to watch it live

Yes indeed, I can only see that Eurosport, at least the norwegian version, will send the ladies free program. I guess it´s because of the time difference, but sometimes they still send it afterwards, with a comment. They could have sent it like friday morning/day? Which would be great. I´m not really familiar with Eurosport player, but if I sign up and pay for one month, I will be able to go back and watch the livestream afterwards? (You may not know this, but maybe someone else can tell). I really don´t know what else to do. I have been so looking forward to this, so I really want to watch the whole events, also without knowing the scores ahead.

I’m also thankful it’s CBC not CTV as I don’t have cable so live stream is my only option
