I guess she is no longer with Panova? Representing a different country won't improve her scores, though, she'll still score ~140-150 like last year, and that's not what's needed to be competitive...

Because he'll probably be switched would be my guess.

I don't think that is going to happen assuming he does well at the test skate event because last season he skated the 1st and 3rd JGP event and the season before that he skated the 1st and 2nd JGP event. So, I think this is his strategy and he wants to skate as early events as possible. And it wasn't a bad strategy two seasons ago because he made it to the final after skating the 1st and 2nd JGP events.
