I don't understand why Russia isn't sending anyone when they have so many great ladies without GPs (think Gubanova, Tarusina, Sakhanovich, Gulaykova, Mikhailova, a returned Pogorilaya...) and they sent two ladies last year so why none this year?

Men: Shoma in a walk.

Women: Kaori should win this easily.

Pairs: Zabiyako/Enbert have the top PB; Della Monica/Guarise could challenge, particularly since this is Italy.

Ice dance: Guignard/Fabbri have won this two years in a row, and are still the top-ranked team here, though it's not impossible that Hurtado/Khaliavin could pull it out.

EDIT: Ah, Gensan. As with any predictions, always take it with the caveat that anything can happen. Kaori has easily the highest proven ceiling of anybody here, would be the gist of it.

So four Italian ice dance teams signed up. Head-to-head for the players trying to grab the open spot(s) at Europeans & Worlds. Calderoni & Papetti had/have one more year of eligibility on the junior circuit, correct? But here they are at a senior Challenger. Feel like this is a sign that there are going to be two open spots in addition to Guignard & Fabbri at season's end.

No idea. The last time I watched Lombardia it was streamed by idealweb that seems to not exist anymore... I'd wait till the day of competition. I'm not even sure if the link is right.
