It is going to be so weird  not to see Jason at this event with his usual senior B buddy Shoma.

And is there anyone who thinks, absent a total catastrophe, that Shoma will NOT win?

Jason and Sho always have to be together! :luv17: Really happy I'll get to see them both at Sk Can! I was hoping Shoma would get IdF, which would have meant they would be there together too! Shoma got NHK instead though. They'll miss each other, I'm sure. Actually I think Shoma loves being with Jason because of Jason's ability with Japanese. It's fun to watch them talking together!

I think the question should be who will get silver or bronze.

Can't wait for Shomachka I rewatched his new SP today at work :yahoo: coworker commented that he had nice thighs.

I trust he will get the gold. Who do you guys think will get silver?

I would say Aliev is probably for that silver locked up...as long as he doesn’t have a meltdown.

I think Dmitri is a good bet for the silver, although I wouldn't count Tim Dolensky or Kazuki Tomono out either. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Matteo sneaks in there for the bronze. I think his home crowd will inspire him. I really hope the crowd noise is not muted on the livestream this year. It was weird last year seeing people clapping and obviously cheering and yet we heard nothing.

It’s possible that the medal order will correspond with the PB ranking and I wouldn’t mind that at all. Shoma should be set for gold. I want a medal for Kazuki and I quite like Aliev... so no meltdowns, please 🙏

figureskatingm1 @ Twitter made an excellent time chart of the upcoming competitions! https://twitter.com/figureskatingm1/status/1038732566772117507

Thanks for sharing.
I’ve got to say I’m not enthusiastic about the time of Mens SP at all 😩

Yayyyy, just excited to see Junehyoung skate. He's my favorite of the Korean men.

Editing because I just realized Kazuki's short and long programs both have choreography done by Misha Ge. How awesome! :eeking:

Tim Dolensky in the last flight:clap:

Maybe he can use that amazing headless scratch spin, the best of anyone male or female — not just Lombardia, but of everyone —to good effect:)

Misha choreographed Kazuki's SP but Misao Sato (Kazuki's go-to choreographer) did his FS.

I'm also looking forward to Junehyoung~:)

Ah, I saw them both credited together on both programs in the event thread. Must've been lumped in together mistakenly.

Sato is amazing as well, so either way I'm excited for both programs because it's Kazuki.
