^ Unless he's been added last minute, he is there as the last poll entry?
My dream podium would be Sergei-Keiji-Mikhail. Fingers crossed for them.

Apart from the Russian skaters, I'm really looking forward to seeing Moris again. I reckon Misha will win this, but I wish Sergei particularly strong skates. He wasn't at his best at the first Cup of Russia, but I sincerely hope he has another smashing season and makes it to Europeans, which he would have so deserved last season. :clapper:

I wonder if we're all underestimating Bychenko in the poll. If Mikhail struggles (& I admit ignorance on the tech arsenal of Samarin and Samohin), Bychenko might win this event if he puts forth the skates he had at Worlds. The men's and ladies' events are making me really regretful I cannot go this year :hopelessness:

Absolutely good point, I thought about that as well. But my fingers are firmly crossed for Mikhail and Sergei  I'd love to go there, but haven't got money or holidays left. :(

Oh, I will cheer all right, believe me:laugh:, I still remember that I've been scolded for clapping too loudly at SD in Milan by someone in the row below ;), I'm bringing my flags to wave them and counting on some more signatures!

You've got flags? Where do you guys get them? I need to get some too, well, fabric banners with skater names for my big favorites in the first place (no idea how to come by them either, lol), but I'd love to have some flags on sticks for my other faves as well. Where does one buy such things here in central Europe? I tried some searching but I guess I'm a complete dummy, I could only find company banner manufacturers. :s

Loud clapping? Wow, that's the first time I hear of such a thing. I wince and mutter a bit when a fan sitting behind me screams into my ear, but clapping? Come on.

I'm ordering them online - there are some Polish sites selling them, I've come only to see Polish flags sold directly from the stationary shop. In Milan, there were people with variety of little flags on stick, smaller or bigger flags on material, mine are 60x90 cm:). I'm yet to make a poster for skaters though, I do wish I know how to make a good one:laugh:

Yess, give it your best roar for Sergei! :cheer2:
Scolded for clapping? In Russia, they come and shake your hand when you're proper enthusiastic about skaters. :agree:

This should be an enjoyable competition! I don't know if I want Kolyada or Voronov to take it (maybe a tie? ;)). But it would make me extremely happy if Sean Rabbitt was his consistent, joyful self and took home a bronze.
