I really hope we see one of the Canadian men make a real break through. They have several former junior world medallists. Nam and Messing have both been top 8 in senior worlds. They are capable of beating Rizzo, Aymoz, Yan, Bychenko et al. Maybe hard to beat Nathan and Yuzuru but the rest are fair game.

Can you see it now? I muted the Cascada song that plays during the review, in theory that should work. Otherwise I'll edit and repost it without that.

I could watch it (indeed with silence during the review). Nice to see Deanna being her elegant self. Also, she seems a lot happier than last season. You lucky people in Canada! Always some good pair teams in the mix (even if it doesn't work out every year), and now the graceful Deanna with her partner - sorry, don't know him yet that well. I have so much respect for her (as, indeed, I have for Zoe Jones from the UK). Congratulations indeed!

Unavailable in the US. I'd love to see it though.

No problem Mr. Rice. Kaetlyn mentions how much she is enjoying her shows, coaching and clinics. She esp. is looking forward to the clinics to come in Newfoundland, appreciates Alena and Rika, and will be attending post secondary to study journalism.

D'Alessandro & Waddell RD (1080p): https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7oncfo Their score was so high that they would've placed 2nd in the Senior Rhythm Dance!

It took so long to download the Junior Rhythm Dance archived livestream (the file is over 9 GB! :eeking: ).

Decisive win for Natalie and Bruce - should snag them the first youth olympics spot. I think the second will go to Nadiia and Peter for their consistency.

That would only be if Skate Canada ignores its previously-published criteria, though they've already declined to announce on the 26th like they previously said they would, so maybe they will.

What was their criteria? I must've missed that. From what I heard from coaches, the deciding factor was going to be challenge results.

What was their criteria?

It should go to Makita & Gunara and D'Alessandro & Waddell. It was supposed to be based on JGP scores, and those two teams have both the highest totals and the highest single-event scores.

(Also, my mother thinks they would be nuts not to send M&G as their programs are standouts among all the junior teams this season; but of course, that is just our personal opinion:)).

Kaiya won the junior ladies' title by seventeen points at Challenge, in what seems virtually certain to be repeated at junior Nationals in January.
