Why don't more people skate the The Police or Sting?

I guess they don’t want to potentially double the mark for jumps plus GoE for each vs other elements

Taking 50% of each wouldn't increase the importance of SBS jumps and stil award the landed one.

I think one of them was injured and that's why the twist is even worse than normal. But that was Michael iirc. Not sure about Kirsten

I don't think they do get the points though? I think they score based on the least that was done. If one does a 2T, it's just scored as a 2T, and if the other one falls then they also score it with a fall.

Yes, I'm not talking about the current system. But someone was saying they wished sbs jumps were scored separately.

Roman Sadovsky and P/K look so, so much better here than they did at Skate Canada. Unfortunately MT/M still look like a hot mess, just like they did there. I cannot imagine what is going on with them. A spectator there told me Marinaro has some kind of significant upper body/shoulder injury, but even that wouldn’t account for their performances this year. It makes me sad!
