Annika is literally a tiny bundle of energy, and I'm so proud of her finally getting the 3S down. She must have worked so hard on it during the off-season. Ah, could I love these two more? No, I don't think so 😍❤️ (And they are actually one of the teams with great sbs spins, super synchronised)

A few more issues here than in Lombardia, but still two very solid SPs to start off the season.

Not so terrible for the not-so-baby-anymore Germans. Yes, there were quite a few issues, on the twist, the two-footed triple throw, and the underrotated 2A, but good lift, and a good death spiral. They won't make it to Worlds, but Germany has three spots at Euros and I am not seeing anyone taking that last spot from them.

Honestly I was shocked how weak they were. Music choice, artistry, they even made mistakes at their best elements. I expect more if Alonja, Robin and Ingo work on them.

They've had issues with ice time. They were sharing one ice rink with hockey, singles skating and recreational skating.

General question: Do you think that Canada will retain their 3 spots after Worlds 2024?
They need a maximum of 13 points if you sum up the placements of the first two Canadian pairs. So if S_D/D take a bronze medal Pereira/Michaud need place 10 to save the third spot. Difficult to predict. It is in the rooms of possiblities. But Pereira/Michaud have not looked great so far and many other pairs seem to improve (two German pairs, Beccari/Guarise...). I do not think so.

I think they could place top 10, also having a home crowd helps to boost your performance.
I'd really like Italy to achieve 3 spots too!

Holichenko/Darenskyi haven't quite earned the SP minimum for worlds here, let's hope they can earn the free skate TES for Euros 🙂 as Ukraine has two spots there!
