Angelina and Ilia finished 8th out of 20 in the FD, with a score of 90.41. This meant that they dropped to 8th place overall, with a score of 152.56.
Here is what I wrote in the competition thread at the time:
I should add a clarification. When I watched it back again, I realised that one of the Cypriot flags was being held by their Ladies Singles team-mate, Stefania Yakovleva. But, the point still stands.
Honestly, I don't know how they slipped down the order. Even after looking at the Protocols. The Twizzles at the start got -0.10 in GOE and marks of -1 from 3 of the Judges. But, they were the only minuses on the sheet. Four of the Judges gave 0 for the Twizzles, but apart from that there was only one other 0 on the sheet, from Judge 3 for the One Foot Step Sequence in the second half of the programme.
Whilst there was general acknowledgement in the competition thread that it was not the best performance we have seen of this programme during the season, my friend in Australia still wrote:

And I agree. It was not perfect, but it was still great! And it deserved to place better.
Angelina and Ilia finished the FS 1.60 points behind 7th position, Darya GRIMM / Michail SAVITSKIY (DEU), and 6.36 points ahead of 9th position, Eva BERNARD / Tom JOCHUM (FRA). Angelina and Ilia are the bottom partnership in a larger group of five partnerships covered by 5.21 points that stretches up to 4th position, Hannah LIM / Ye QUAN (KOR).
Overall, Angelina and Ilia were 1.42 points behind 7th position, Angela LING / Caleb WEIN (USA), and 12.20 points ahead of 9th position, Celina FRADJI / Jean-Hans FOURNEAUX (FRA). Angelina and Ilia are the bottom partnership in a larger group of four partnerships covered by 1.92 points that stretches up to 5th position, Grimm / Savitskiy.
All of which shows that on another day, they could have easily finished in 5th position.
Nevertheless, achieving new ISU PB's all round was a good way to end what was a successful season for them. They have gained a lot of new fans and, along with their team-mates in Ladies Singles (Marilena Kitromilis, Emilea Zingas, Stefania Yakovleva, and Sofia Lapshyna), have really put Cyprus on the figure skating map.
Looking forward to more success next season!
WELL DONE!!!

Beautiful as always, but not perfect.
There was a few times that they were out of sync. Fortunately, the first of those was during the choreography before their first element, so it won't have a big impact. And there was a point in the closing choreography where Ilia looked to have had a bit of a stumble.
The elements themselves looked good. The GOE section of the TES box was green the whole way through the programme.
Good to see some Cypriot flags in the audience. I hope they realise that they have fans!
They looked disappointed when sitting on the sofa.
Into 4th in the FS with a score of 90.41, and 4th overall with a score of 152.56.
Not their highest scores of the season, but it is better than they got at their Junior GP appearances. So, new ISU PB's for the Free Dance and overall.
WELL DONE ANGELINA AND ILIA!!!
