I just had to come in here and comment on Dimitri's free skate in Italy this weekend, While it wasn't a very good skate for him, I thoroughly enjoyed his choreography and the fact that he carried the waltz theme throughout the skate. I think he is graceful and smooth and while he didn't place too well, I really liked watching him over all the other men.

Dmitri is a wonderful skater. I hope he regain his confidence in the big elements. It was a pleasure to watch him skate at the GP Italy. Gorgeous skater !!!!

As far as I understand, the text on the back of his costume is only for decoration. The real special inscription is on his left sleeve, which reads "The world makes way for the man who knows where he is going" (by Ralph Waldo Emerson). And there is a pen on his right sleeve.
