It looks like Hoffmann&Zavozin are entered, who knows if they will show up , they were entered for Karl Shafer as well but didn't show up, it sure would be interesting to see their marks.

Since Lutai has been added to the Trophee Bompard Grand Prix event this weekend, I doubt he is going to Golden Spin.

I hope someone will take videos or at least photos of Hoffman & Zavozin!

kosjenka, I'll be waiting for your photos! :)

I'm very happy for Adrian, who seems to have done a great skate. Also impressed by our junior Alexander Majorov (his dad, with the same name, once trained Yagudin), he will make his senior debut at Euros in Jan. He almost beat Adrian in TES! Sasha really wants to show he's good. And he is! Wow, well done, boys!

I can not give you copy-paste of the official results - because i don't have them . . . they are really slow with it today . .

anyhow - i do know that
BEKNAZAROVA&ZUYEV are in lead now, followed by GORSHKOVA&BUTIKOV. other two couples from Ukraine are 3rd and 4th but sorry i can not remember now. I was more upset with my camera.

Julia won the event (good for her !), Jenna is second (she did great) and Joshi won the bronze in the end.

i must go now - my battery is very low.

i'll post more when i come back home tonight

Thanks for the pic, kosjenka!
 :disapp:  is what I feel for Adrian... His FS must have looked c a t a s t r o p h i c!!
kosjenka, do you remember the look of his face after he skated? Was he very sad? He has already begun this season with the attitude that it will be crap, so that may affect a lot. But his SP looked so good in the protocols :( I'm just so sad right now.
I hope he'll manage to keep himself together at NHK Trophy...

Poor Adrian didn't look physically ready at SA, he has no strength to skate a LP, short may be OK, but for long, he just wasn't ready because he missed so many training time. I'm not expecting anything from him on NHK. He needs more training time.

Good news for some of the Brits

Well Kemp& King managed to win the Pairs, and more importantly are attempting SBS 2A at last. Both the SP and LP attempts were downgraded but at leas they're trying to up their technical content. They landed both throw triples in the LP so good for them. I think this might be their first international win?

And Jenna managed to rally back in the LP to come in second in that part and third over all. Still not an impressive number of triples landed in the LP but hopefully this is a good grounding before nationals and then Europeans and Worlds. I hope she can really pull out some good performances for the major championships.

sorry guys.

i got sick after the competition...
it usually happens during golden spin - but this time it hit me on the very last day.

Adrian looked so upset and pissed after LP.
I saw him leaving the rink and he was not to be accompanied.

his program has so much potential - his music is very innovative.
I'm managing the photos at the moment.

Yeah, he totally ran out of steam after only the 2:00 minute mark at SA, so he clearly needs more time.

But, despite the fact that he had like no speed in the second half of the program, he still sold the program and the choreography was really interesting and fun. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

Hopefully he'll be ready for Euros/Worlds.

I've never seen him that tired before. That's his problem. He is strong, lot of muscles, but he thinks fitness training is very boring, so he doesn't practice that as much as he need to.

ok - so i've put some of the photos on my blog
don't expect much of them - they are not really good but still they are there.

Adrian's fans will be happy i think.
