The Senior competitions start on 15[SUP]th[/SUP] December 2017 at 18:30 CET (17:30 GMT) with the Men’s Short.

So, the target time to get your predictions in is 1 hour before that, i.e. 17:30 CET (16:30 GMT).

Now for my favourite National Championship outside of the “Big Four”.

With the Ladies, I had it all worked out in my head exactly who was going to be in my Top 7, and in what order. And then I heard that Elisabetta Leccardi is only recently back from an injury.

So, it was with great sadness that I had to remove her from the silver medal position that I had planned to put her in. But, I still put her right and high up in 4th position, ahead of Rodegheiro.

The rest of the 7 were kept in the same order as I originally intended. I never even looked up the absolute PB’s for them (dangerous, I know!) But, I did for the remaining 5, and used that order for them.

When it came to the Men, I knew who I was putting as my Top 2. I also knew who I was putting in the next 5 positions, but I was being torn in so many directions over the order!

The final podium position, I was dithering over Grassl and Maurizio Zandron. And I plumped for the latter. To round off my Top 5, I was dithering between Bannister, Marco Zandron and dalla Torre. This time, I looked up the absolute PB’s, and found dalla Torre was a lot higher than I imagined. So, I went with him.

Pairs and Dance did not take much thinking. I am always going to go for Vale in Pairs! And Dance was straightforward enough.

I am so sorry alyssamarie, but at the time you posted your predictions, the Shorts for all the categories were already finished.

So, I'm afraid your predictions for the Italian Championships round will not be accepted. But, you will get points from Four Nationals for your Dance predictions, so that's something at least.

I'll ask the scorers to let you know how you would have got on anyway. Just out of curiosity.

Congratulations to all the medalists - especially our gold medalists, who had perfect scores! In addition to our gold medalists, Antyv also predicted the podium correctly. :hap85:

Most people got Matteo Rizzo and Ivan Righini in the correct spots, but quite a few people had Daniel Grassl and Maurizio Zandron reversed. Also many people correctly had Mattia Dalla Torre in fifth place. Some did because they had him there originally. But most had Adrien Bannister there and had Dalla Torre as their reserve pick then Dalla Torre moved up when Bannister withdrew.
