I was hoping for both Sarnovsky brothers to make the podium, but Nikita was 4th. He had a very good skate though!

Sorry, late to the party. I see his name pop up on live competition threads, but somehow always thought it was a nickname for someone lol... my bad reading comprehension skills read his name as Krill. 🦐

Not only that, I can't believe how calm and non-flaily his arms are... especially for all the fast movements the music demands.

I've neglected this fanfest, for shame!

Kirill just completed in Russian Junior Nationals.

I thought the score was a bit low and he ended up 7th, I wonder if he can still make it to the JGP next season 🤔 Then again there's still a lot of unknowns with the world, perhaps he'll make his move in 2022-2023.

:laugh: I wonder if Kirill does have a dimunitive, and if so what it is. I would be tempted to throw a Krill plushie for the LOLs though.

Before heading off to the Junior Nats, Kirill practiced his FS in front of the other Angels :)


That's all for now. In rather interesting news Alexei Mishin visited the Academy the other day, I wonder if he shared any of his wisdom with Kirill, I hope so!

Hello fellow Kirill fans.

Not gonna lie I was rather bummed on Kirill's behalf the past few months as he had a tough result at the qualifier for the Russian Novice Nationals and didn't make it. :( Then he kind of disappeared for a bit.

However, he and younger brother Nikita resurfaced this week at a competition called All-Russian competition in memory of V.S. Chernomyrdin where Kirill unveiled a new SP (so new he doesn't even have a costume yet!), although the puffy sleeves for the FS are still there. :biggrin:

He came 1st :cheer: and Nikita was 2nd.
