Kori Ade fights cancer

Kori was diagnosed with Stage 3 B Cell Lymphoma. Kori is currently undergoing aggressive immunotherapy and chemotherapy treatment for the next five months at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

For our newer skating fans, Kori is currently a coach at the Scott Hamilton Skating Academy in Nashville, where she coaches among others, US novice Antonio Monaco.

She is probably best known for coaching Jason Brown from age five to 22, including his trip to the Sochi Olympics. She has also coached, at various times, Mariah Bell, Tomoki Hiwatashi, Jordan Moeller, Laurine LeCavalier, Romain Ponsart, and others.

Kori is such a sweet person. This broke my heart. In barely 2 days, the Go Fund Me that was started for her has raised over $50,000 to help with her expenses...Stay strong Kori.

I'm happy that the response to the funding plea has been so vigorous. I would assume that Scott is being as supportive as he can possibly be while she goes through this. She's in good hands. I hope for the very best outcome possible.
