Sorry, but I am not sure how to interpret your second sentence. Which of the two meanings below is correct? (I think the answer is B, but do not feel 100% certain. Dunno if they chose the teleconference to make news??)
- (A) It is true that we will retire from competition at the end of this season, but we have not really thought about the reality that it is our final season.
OR
- (B) We have not really thought about whether we will retire from competition at the end of this season.
I'm inclined to say (B) based on past articles. If I can find one, I'll put it here, but IIRC, they said they would compete as long as they had the desire and ability to do so.
