AS: Were the Japanese fans fainting?
MS: Because of me? No. However, when Nathan Chen was out the girls were screaming like crazy `Nathan!!! Marry me!!!!!!'. The emotions they had for me were calmer and it was so nice.

Yes! I also thought that could be Nathan's music. It was definitely him the did the 3a and then it looked like he was doing some choreo after it. It also fits the mold of him wanting to do something slower for his long program. I tried to Shazam it but nothing came up. It would be awesome if somebody knew what it was. (OR if he could just announce it ;))

I listened to The Mission after you said that, and the sound is very similar. I don't hear the exact melody that's playing in the clip though - but hey, if it turns out to be The Mission - I'd be thrilled, it's one of my favorite pieces :)

Well, Salt Lake City is less than a month away so it can't be that long from now. Someone on Twitter says the music on Ashley's video is by Aaron Copland but I haven't been able to verify this.

He looks really nice in dressy clothing so it's a shame he wears Nike gear 90% of the time. Vera Wang needs to design something for him so he doesn't wear H&M crap to all the skating banquets. In the video he and Mariah give a shoutout to Michael's in Long Beach for their pizza. So if you're in the area I guess you can hang out there everyday if you want to meet figure skaters.

The final day of Champs Camp is supposed to be fun group activities so look forward to seeing videos of that.

Nathan's agent is being coy about an announcement being made on Thursday, but she doesn't say if it's about Nathan or one of her other clients.

I think it's going to be something related to DWTS because doesn't she rep Cheryl Burke? Apparently they are announcing DWTS pros on Thursday.

I don't think it's Aaron Copland because I listened to the song that poster thought it was and it didn't sound like it...I'd really like to know what it is though!

Lynn Rutherford's episode of Ice Talk from Champs Camp is up. They talk about Nathan for a while - but no details about his programs beyond his short program is contemporary (which we knew) and his long program is "more nuanced, has more transitions and is very sophisticated." She said that he doesn't really want to talk much about his programs yet but it's his goal that he puts out a very complete package this year and that he said that all of the top guys can do both so there's no reason he can't either. She also just notes about how calm he seems to be about all the attention he's gotten/is about to get.

Cheryl is on Dance Mom, so I don't think it's about that. Maybe they've finished filming.

CUTE STORY: Nathan apparently likes to wear the clothing he receives as gifts from his fans. As a result, one Twitter poster thought the shirt he's wearing in that photo might be the one she gave him at DOI, but it wasn't confirmed until another poster pointed out the identical cuffs.
