Well, for comparison, 8-9k rubles is the minimum pension value for retired people.
My grandmother, who worked for more than 45 years, recieves 15k rubles / month.
So, are saying that for most families, this academy would be out of their price range?
In Moscow many families can pay the price. But in Russia there are many poor people.
So, are saying that for most families, this academy would be out of their price range?
2000 rubles, according to Google, is just over 34 USD, 46 AUD. I pay only fractionally less than that for half an hour with my coach. And she is not a superstar (but she's my superstar. ).
I know Frank Carroll apparently charges 100 an hour - and that is over 5500 rubles!
All the talks about the Price are really unprofessional. People only care about the price list for this school, but do you really know how many bills Plushenko has to pay to keep it going? He is only a co-owner there, so listening to other investers' opinions on its entrance threshold is necessary, and moreover, their charges are not that unreasonable considering his position/reputation in this field.
I think the only thing that can please those harsh "critics" is the News entitled "Plushenko Is Verging On Bankruptcy Because Of His New Academy."

Difficult element which our kids sportsmen @gnomgnomych and @eva_burunova make excellent! ⛸
It is an average price for fs in Russia. Many who is critizing doesn't know anything about real fs. Even if you are in state club your mixed price per mounth could be higher than Plushenko's because you are paying for everything: choreography lessons, fintness club, trips to competions, ice (even in state school if you are not in a national team you have to pay), coach, costumes (in Moscow if to can't afford a new one there are always some free or many people suggest you to chose theirs), professional skates and all of that is in different places, so you pay for trips between buildings. So if you pay for great specialists your mix price canbe easily bigger than in Plushenko's academy. FS was always an expensive sport but if you win something you have also quite good money.
Oh, what a surprise! An other Russian poster was soooooooo outraged! She was shouting how arrogant Plushenko is because of his prices!
I would say its average on top level.
Because, when they are in a state club, most skaters dont do much choreography lessons, or go to a fitness club, or travel to competitions, or even do costumes, and so on. This is a level small kids (such as many plushy's students) not do.
Yes,but it seems is not an extremely high, completely unusual price for privat lessons in Moscow. For me would be impossible to pay, of course
I think it's because people have herad real price for the first time. And you can look at the comments under his schools' updates where they are complaining about prices and don't understand why kids work so much off ice, which jump is it and call harness as a scoop-net and so on... Before they heard only how expensive could be training on ice (paying for main coach and arenda of ice), but really there are nearly always more than one coach on it and you work with many more specialists in different areas to achive something. Plus, our media always promotes him as a bad pearson
Oh, yes Plushy is not friendly with them, too. The media can make sensations with him. But he remained one of the most popular athletes for years. Russia is so huge!
