Just checked: I'll need to wake up 5:40am to watch Ladies SP live...

It's Wednesday where I am, but it's Thursday in Japan. (I'll figure this out yet!) If the ISU color coded schedule is accurate, Ice Dance practice has taken place, and the Pairs should be practicing right now. Next up Ladies, then Men. Then in their afternoon, they have another round of practices. http://www.isuresults.com/schedules/gpjpn2018_ColouredTimeSchedule.pdf Does anyone know for sure, are spectators allowed at the NHK practices? I'm not really sure.

I have read on Twitter that some people are at practice but they're not allowed to take any pictures or video in the arena past a certain point.

Yes, So-chan is Sota's nickname. Ah, the jumps seem to be a problem, that explains the downgraded layout from Finlandia. I hope this isn't one of those days for his ankle. Poor brave boy, I hope he sleeps on it and is in a good condition tomorrow. ;_;

Thanks for all the updates everyone. Of course this is NHK and most of the reports and video clips available right now will be focused on Japanese
skaters which is normal procedure when the GP event is held in your backyard. As the competition progresses hopefully other skaters will
be highlighted. Also Japan is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of NHK.

I've just barely learned to recognize names in russian so I can read scores and such but I guess next goal will be japanese and after that Korean. Watching FS will turn us all into multilingual people

I'm seriously considering learning Russian because of FS, I managed to teach myself to read Cyrillic but that's it. FS is helping me check things off my bucket list

Hangeul (our letter system) is pretty easy, it's our language that's difficult. I'm all for people learning Hangeul
