Russian local competitions 2018-2019

Spartakiad is competition of regions in many winter sports.
Region receives points from results of its athletes (for example - Moscow Samsonov and Yablokov, StPetersburg Mozalev and Gumennik).
Final place of region - by total pints of all sports.

Khrustalniy's "Little Boss Man" Daniil Samsonov just scored 168.94 for his FS, adding 264.01 total to Moscow's tally in the 9th Winter Spartakiad for Youths.

One of the little sweeper girls asked for, and got his autograph in her notebook. She looked to be the same sweet little girl that hugged all the contestants earlier.

But Sankt Peterburg's Pyotr Gumennik bested this score with 191.10 for a flawless FS to win the event.

I see very good skating of top boys and girls.
And serious overscoring - but overscored were all, places are correct, so it means nothing.

Quad - 1 point

For Junior Ladies:
3A or quad - 2 points

And they are being held in Adler, on the Black Sea.
So a chance to take a dip in the water, get a tan or a sunburn this early in April.

Today, she scored 53.28 at the Snow Leopards rink annual open competition "Ball of Stars".
Tomorrow she'll perform her free skating routine.

Unfortunately today in the Free Program, Veronika Zhilina didn't have the best of outings, 2 falls and lots of other small mistakes brought her 118.24 and a second place in her rank at the Snow Leopards Open Competition.

In the higher ranked group (1st Sporting Rank), Snow Leopards own Anastasiya Shabotova (172.92) , Viktoriya Sinyavina (150.40) and Agniya Svintsitskaya (105.76) also competed.
Sinyavina and Shabotova's scores came up right after their finish, to both their surprise.

PS: for the kids enrolled in the Specialised Sports Schools for Children and Youths etc. there are competitions and tests in figure skating planned all over Russia almost till the end of may.

Sigh. I think Erokhov may have injured himself again Popped the 4sal, completed a spin then withdrew from the competition. Frolov jumps looked okay, low GOE though. Spins need work so does the PCS.

I read that he planned to WD from the very beginning. Something about the rules that 6 or more competitors in Seniors are required. So skaters could get title "Master of Sports".

Well I expected him and some others to withdraw for that reason but I didn't think he would injure (or re-injure) himself in the process. Wasn't expecting a great skate but wasn't expecting this either
