So many favorite ones have already been mentioned (C&L's, Dan Hollander's, Plushy's "Sex Bomb," SuperJavi, Hawayek & Baker's "Austin Powers"), but I'll add Scott Hamilton's "I Love Me" (the one in which he imitates a "lounge lizard).

Would you consider Torvill and Dean's "Barnum" a comedy routine?
Actually yes, T&D's Barnum did have comedic elements to it. I am probably one of the few who preferred their Barnum FD to Bolero. Although I did enjoy Bolero, too! 1983 was my favourite T&D year: I still go back and watch their iconic Rock & Roll OSP.

Wow! This one is wonderful indeed! Thank you.

Plushy has his fair share of crazy exhibitions, but I feel the one with the clown head is often overlooked:

Because what is even happening? Why is the head giant? Who came up with this? In the end I can only :laugh2:

A question: who was the male skater who did an ex imitating the style of previous famous skaters? Cannot remember it but it was fun.
b
I remember that one too. And Paul Wylie gave input saying "If you are going to do me, do it right. It goes like this..." Unfortunately, I can't recall the skater who performed the parody either.

I posted this link in another thread once, but I think it belongs in this conversation too: T&D's Barnum seen from the judges' perspective. Apparently at the 1983 worlds, the cameras were installed across from the judges instead of behind them, which meant that the TV audience (and, consequently, all of us) didn't have the best perspective on some of the illusions and tricks that are among the program's best comic bits. But somehow some practice footage shot from the "right" viewpoint survives and has been posted by a YouTuber whose channel is a great resource for video of older skaters.

I can't find a clip of it anywhere but Scott Hamilton once did a program set to "Skating" from It's Christmas, Charlie Brown where he was dressed as a kid going out to skate on a pond and skated like a kid just goofing around. It was really cute.

Thanks ribbit - interesting fun-fact (about the TV camera placement) and you've cited a really good version of one of my fave T&D programs of all time.

...
And then there was Tarzan by Pechalat & Bourzat also at 2011 Europeans

This was some exhibition...

 I had never seen that! P&B always had something different to present. Just as I saw Fabian vent his aggression tossing that reptile into the audience, I saw on TV out of the corner of my eye one well-known tennis player smashing his racket on the court. They were pretty much in sync.

...and EVERYTHING ELSE!

Gary Beacom - always did it HIS way, and I loved him for it. That man defied gravity! Even his "eligible" competitive programs (e.g. 1984 Nationals FP) were way outside the box. Here's his I'm Your Man: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lke0nXpbtH8

I had NEVER seen that! Parodies are always fun. :gclap:

Scott being the legend he is, and wonderful at funny stuff, I would have loved to see this. As a consolation, how about Kurt Browning's Charlie Brown?

I have to add a REALLY BIG :thank: to everyone for all your offerings!

I think I laughed the most the first time Brasseur & Eisler skated their reverse gender program. Lloyd was wearing a big white short dress (to really show off his big, hairy legs). Guess this evolved into those Devil in the Blue Dress programs. It was earlier than 1992...can't remember the music. So funny to see Lloyd skating pairs in a dress.

I have looked for this many times but have never found it...until now. :yahoo:

You may know Jason Priestley from as far back as Beverley Hills, 90210 on TV in the 90s. But did you know he figure skated in the Vancouver area before his acting fame?

Here's a parody of the 1992 Albertville Olys on Saturday Night Live - featuring Jason.
