I thought things went very well, considering Sho was still nursing a bit of a sore ankle. Lucky he had Demi-san with to keep his ankle in shape. They did great stamina work and worked very hard on incorporating the jumps into the programs. At that point Sho had only been working on Moonlight Shomata for a short time. Although it was fun to watch the media day, it was a bit disruptive to his training, but other than that, things went well.

No, I meant the first half of the season. Shoma then had problems with landing 4F, combos 4T-2T and 3A-o-3F. And he couldn't naile 4S during this season at all.
Second half of seson was better, especially if considering his injuries.
In short, he was struggling with his jumping technique after camp with Ouriashev, so i think it's good decision, to go to a new summer camp.

In other words, the training went well. If he had trouble with his ankle, there was no training that was going to make his jumps any better. And this could be a conversation of endless debate, because he never really told us how much his ankle was or wasn't bothering him. I remember saying at Sk Can 2017 that I was worried about his ankle.

Yes! it's reported that Mao shook hands with Shoma during the number 'Smile'. Not sure if there will be footage or not, but I think we should be able to get a group photo of Shoma with other members of MTT soon!

I feel sad now.
Yesterday I was very lucky and happy because I attended Mao Show and it was amazing.
My friend went there today and reported about Shoma.
I envy her.
I really miss him so much.

Shoma looks good and healthy, I really missed him! Glad to know where he is at the moment, now that he's turned into a Man of Mystery (TM).

Fun fact: Sei Kawahara who is in the photo has the same birthday as Shoma, 17 December.

Aaah, both lucky and unlucky jerrymouse! Lucky since you get to see beautiful Mao in her show, unlucky that you missed Shoma just by a day! You have one thing in common with Shoma though: great taste in ice shows XD

I never forget Japan Open 2015, The Ice 2016 and 2017.

Totally agree and was thinking the same thing. He looks rested, strong, happy, bright eyes, has good color -- must be all that niku (and occasionally a potato!)
