Yes, the date was on Shoma's birthday but the signatures were not at Champery. It's at Kyoto Uji Ice Arena He was training for Nationals in another city on his birthday...

I hope he's dreaming of that flight to Switzerland. They are conducting their summer camp. I'm sure he misses being with his coach and buddies. Rika is there. I wish Shoma was!

I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm not in any hurry for him to get back to Shompery. For one thing, that 12-15 hour flight doesn't seem like a good idea right now (for him and his mom). I can't imagine that there will be a Gr Prix season, so I don't think there's a big hurry. I'm hoping he's spending time on the ice every day, which I think he is.

I get that b/c I think the same thing about going there to practice. For what? So frustrating but it has to be excruciating for the skaters. In the meantime, I hope he's enjoying his life of posing with Toro and gaming competitions while he gets back in shape on the ice.

Update from the couch -- Toro is getting tickles from Shoma. Hopefully she feels better now? She looks like maybe she has a little more pep and energy now. She looked very lethargic in the other photos...If and when Shoma goes away, she is really going to miss him!

It seems that Shoma was a winner but that meant that he was a loser. The winner of this tourney was the player who lost the most. Go figure!
Shoma did say that if his practicing was going well he would be playing video games and visa versa.

A friend of mine who is into tennis says they do give cars to star athletes, so it would be awfully nice for them to give one to Sho! Especially since they sponsor him. I am sure if it happens, plenty of photos will be around! And Itsuki needs to keep his phone handy for photos!

Adding: We already have this photo of him from 2017 when they started to sponsor him. Very happy for him. It always feels like quite a milestone when you first get your driver's license. Hopefully poor Itsuki isn't too terrified.
