I think he was overshadowed understandably by Selevko ad Rizzo, but his free was a strong offering, probably the best in competition in terms of technical and artistic content blend. I wish him well!

I really enjoyed the free skate from Vladimir Samoilov (POL) at the Europeans in Kaunas -- he has such power and speed coming into his jumps that they seem to cover half the rink. Such freedom of movement; I don't think it was fully reflected in his skating skills PCS and in GOEs for his jumps.
