Among the Olympic champions, only he and Alina are doing full seasons in 2018-2019 but it's understandable since they're the youngest (and Alina has only had two senior seasons).

I just realized, Yuzuru can't possibly r-word after Japan Worlds. He still needs to get Canadian gold! Without SC assignment, he's going to have to stick it out to see if he gets it next year and Worlds Canada.

This fan met Ogi-mama on the way to FaOI Shizuoka, he said he bought a ticket by himself (means not a free ticket for the celebrity), what a true fan! I hope he will be able to see Yuzuru at the backstage again.

As long as team Japan is still in it, World Cup will be the main news. --Except, most channels will be airing Yuzu receiving the award on the 2nd. Japan has scraped into the next part of the World Cup so all the focus is still there.
Another thing happening at the beginning of July is the Apparatus Finals for All Japan Gymnastics, and that barely gets any coverage at all. -No national broadcasting. :sad21: I have to wait till it's over to see footage of it.
