Pairs guys don't treat their partners like delicate flowers because they are not. It's the male partner's job to protect his partner however.

It wasn't meant as a slight to her. They were just commenting on how great a partner he is- watchful, protective and expressive.

Same feeling. They did pretty great, and it will be fair if they win (even though I prefer K/S). But the program just flows around me and I don't see much in it. Maybe it would be better if they had some face expression or something...

Their sbs spin was ridiculously good too, and 3-3 combo is just fantastic.
And I loved Kavaguti and Smirnov. It was spectacle on ice. Bravo.

YES. I loved the Addams Family program! It was fresh and fun and they looked like they liked skating it and skating with each other. Last season's programs and this season's programs leave me cold.

I want to love S/K because they have all these lovely qualities but there's just something missing for me.

6 points more in PCS than Skate America which means:
- they were underscored at Skate America
- they are overscored here
I really don't like to see these huge differences in PCS between one competition to another. It makes this sport look less like a sport. I know a skater can improve their performance but it's the same program in the end.

Anyway, I am very happy for S/K for making GPF

I already waved a white flag!

But seems Im not alone in this feeling.
Again tastes differ & while TAT was extatic & had tears in her eyes
I felt 'OK that was good I guess'

Maybe b/c it was after Manfred. The impact was so much less.

Basically it was like Lena Radio (or Zhenia M) vs Gracie
Raw emotions vs clean emotionless high tech performance

That SP was anything but bland...guess you can't please everyone. And yes, they both deserve to go to the GPF.

No slight to either. My view is no delicate flowers become a Pairs girl. Female Pairs partners are the gutsiest athletes there are. All their partners should live up to their trust.
