The only other explanation is that trolls are trying to dupe people into believing that any skater could possibly be more beautiful than Alisa Agafonova.

Our kids are still in awe of his dabbing in the middle of the program and before he came off the ice....Nic's a rising star that appeals to all generations...!

Yuzuru Hanyu - A little too boyish for me, but is handsome. Maybe it's the ruffled, fluffy, too fussy tops that make it hard to see him as a man.
Nathan Chen - Even though he's only 17, he's quite handsome and manly looking. The really deep voice doesn't hurt. Look out when he's gets older.

Yeah he was a cutie. Also from that era whom I thought was sponge-worthy (hehe) was Ingo Steuer. I'd even overlook his alleged Stasi ties. We all have our negatives anyway. Peter Oppegard was easy on the eyes too.

Hanyu is considered so beautiful in East Asia that it has been commented by entertainment ppl that he should have entered Johnny's Entertainment. And that is one huge influential Japanese agency for male idols. And many Chinese who don't even care about figure skating are mesmerised by his looks and he is, in a rare twist, extremely popular in China despite his nationality. He even made it onto some list for attractive Summer Olympians despite being a Winter athlete.
