I love G/P but what are they going for in this program. Is he a PI and she a femme fatale? Is he meeting up with her for a rendezvous at a smoky joint? I'm trying to figure out the storyline because this music needs some point of view. Is Paul supposed to be cool and aloof and then passionate as the program goes on? I'm not getting it.

There's elements of the program I like for sure, but I agree with you that I'm not sure of the full theme they're going for other than it's suppose to be film noir.

yes, apparently she is a femme fatale but she needs work more about it . And I prefer the second part of the music.

Piper and Paul always do the best entrances and exits.

Change the middle please, It goes on too long.

That final spin is the ONLY rotational spin that can stay.

Everything about Gilles/Poirier's skating and outfits is stunning! I never get tired of watching that FD!

1988 was a totally different program. The program in 1990 they called Missing and was part 1. Part 2 was in 1991 when they won worlds.
Thanks, I will look for that also.
But whatever they were up to in 1988, I think that is just the ticket!

That's exactly what the program is. You just missed the part where she double crosses him at the end (source: IceTalk interview)

As per usual, Piper's styling is love it or hate it (I love it! :2thumbs:)

Thoughtful ice dancers from other countries really should just boycott this stage. If not you better come with ice in your veins and programs ON POINT, because their Technical Specialist is going to HOSE you. Nuff said.

I've never noticed the Italian team before but they had some lovely moments in there. Enjoyed their first set of twizzles and how well that match each other throughout the program.
