I love it when Narumi and Ryo keep us updated. I'm so excited about them I'd start a separate fan fest thread but they don't even have an ISU page. I'll wait till the official start of next season. :laugh:

Since we're talking about Narumi, her family opened a Phiten shop in Kita-Senju in Tokyo recently and received plants and flowers from Yuzuru, Kozuka and Mura.

Have the videos from SOI Japan been uploaded before? I remember seeing Kozuka's last skate but not much of anything else. Anyway, someone uploaded a whole bunch of them on YT. (Thank you!)

I love Phiten. Last time I looked, the only place we can buy it in the U.S. is Hawaii. (Good excuse to go to Hawaii!)

It was hard to hear, but the announcer said that this is Yuna Aoki's new SP Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy - Sing Sing Sing
It took me a while to click on it because she's wearing the same costume as the one she wore at Makuhari for her exhibition program so I thought it was the same.
I like it, it's a nice change for her. I hope she gets a nice costume for it. Good luck next season Yuna!

Really?? Which product of Phiten do you like? I've only ever owned a silicon Rakuwa a long time ago but I don't have it anymore. Probably threw it out when the silicon started to get sticky or something. But yeah, you really need to go to Hawaii if that is the only place in the U.S. that has Phiten products :yes:

i have many complaints with fuji tv, but with the annual ending of worlds, they make bririant works every year. some Japanese skating fans look forward to it. it is fair and warm to every skater in every counry.

Really?? Which product of Phiten do you like? I've only ever owned a silicon Rakuwa a long time ago but I don't have it anymore. Probably threw it out when the silicon started to get sticky or something. But yeah, you really need to go to Hawaii if that is the only place in the U.S. that has Phiten products :yes:

Yuna is really wonderful! I just watched her "Meditation" on You Tube. Very beautiful program. There was another link I couldn't open, but I'll try and find it somewhere else...I looked at Phiten again - I think maybe Hawaii is the only place with a STORE, but I should be able to find the products in other stores. (Darn! Wanted to go to Hawaii)

Nice video, but I wish they would have put something of Shoma other than his falling and crying! :sad4: He had many beautiful moments too! Oh well, next year!

I always think yuna has the same potential as Marin. Last year i expected her so much, but the result was not what we had wished. But once there is some breakthrough, she may jump up in international field...

She really does look wonderful. It seems that this is a very exciting time for women's figure skating in Japan. Add them to Mao, Satoko, and Rika, and things could get REALLY interesting!

Thanks for sharing! I agree that it looks like a nice change for her, and also some improvement in skating I'd say. I'm wondering who choreographed the number for her. Her programmes from last year and previously were all by her coach, Nakako Tsuzuki (Daughter of Coach Tsuzuki). And I've been hoping she could work with other choreographers (like Marin does).

She really is lovely. I think she's been going through a growth spurt and also lost her home rink due to renovation for 1.5 years so she was under some unfortunate circumstances last year. Plus the most unfortunate thing (imo) is that 3T is her nemesis. I really really REALLY hope she can master it as a 3-3 combo because she's growing up and her 3loops are getting UR calls. I remember reading that one of JSF's criteria for sending junior girls to JGP for 2015-2016 season was that they must have more than one type of 3-3.

I thought it might be Nakako sensei this time as well just because she didn't really mention anything in the recent interview I read although she said her exhibition program was by Katia Gordeeva. But having an exhibition choreographed by someone else is a good way to start (e.g. Wakaba) so hopefully she'll be able to choose who she'd like to work with in the future. Not that there is anything wrong with Nakako sensei's choreography (but I didn't like the Rachmaninov music they chose for her FS this season).
