AbsoluteSkating just posted a handful of photos and quotes (Denis Ten, Michal Brezina, Guignard/Fabbri) on their FB page...so there's actually at least one journalist and photographer there. Wow! :sarcasm:

The last score posted was someone who went before her. So in guessing the poster is behind posting scores.

I hope he will post the score. Mariah

When do they upload results page? At the end of competition or at the end of the day?

The point is H/D didn't score in the 30s waaay back in the spring of 2012. They've been capable of scoring 30+ as recently as October 2013 (torn labrum and all).

Didn't say they weren't, just noting that their PB was from back then. I was surprised actually. Cause I had thought their recent scores had beaten that.

You're right Doris. But I'm scratching my head at the fact that G/F increased their TES by some 7 points in two weeks?!

But you are right that we have not seen video, so maybe they improved greatly.

I have tried to avoid Ice Dance lately as I have been so unimpressed with what has been going on in the last few years. I am to the point that I don't think it should be in the Olympics anymore if it continues to be so corrupt. Maybe that will shake it up. By corrupt I mean that a federation or coach can easily have a tech specialist increase or decrease the levels of certain skaters as well as the judges alter their GOE's . G/F are a perfect example of how judges and tech specialsts favor whatever skater neccesary. If the general public wants to believe it doesnt go on then they are in a kinder place because ice dance has become a joke for those that know. C/L are a bit of a question mark now for the Italian federation, will they even come back and if so what shape will they be in? Surprise, all of a sudden G/F have received outlandish tech and PCS compared to what they have been receiving. They are just not that good. But, Italy needs to promote them as possibly their top team now so this is what happens. So insulting to the other skaters and G/F s SD score is just one example of what has been going on. This is in no way G/Fs fault. Some have said the Paso is such an easy pattern this year so why are teams getting such low levels. There are so many areas in the steps that the tech specialist can really lean one way or another as to whether they will give the level. It has allowed there to be many questionable calls depending on the specialists interpretation. One specialist may give and another will say I need to see more of an edge or a slightly different position of the blade. As long as the specialist uses the same guideline for each team in the same competition that is fine. However, they seem to be applying different conditions for levels to different teams within the same competition and that has allowed this particular pattern to be used for some real pushing and holding back of levels when wanted.
I have enjoyed the sport of Ice Dance for decades but I fear it has been turned into even more of a game of who has the most backing of their federation or whose coach has the most influence on the panels.
The other disciplines don't appear to suffer from this to the same extent. I want there to be some integrity in one of my favorite sports.

Kiira says she was very nervous from the morning on. It was hard for her to skate after she fell as she knew the other jumps must go well. She broke both Europeans and Worlds SP minimum technical score (her main goal in this competition). At the end she was very happy, finally here skating in a competition.

In this it is said that as she fell she could not make the combination as the first jump as was planned. Then she made double toe after her second triple jump to get the combination.

Pairs Results
1. Astakhova/Rogonov 184.24
2. Marchei/Hotarek 167.18
3. Kayne/O'Shea 161.22

Huge score for A/R! I'm sad that they had only one GP competition and didn't have chance for qualifying to final.
Also nice score from Marchei/Hotarek!
