Jason has a lot of good qualities but he's not a nuanced or lyrical skater. Gentle, subtle programs like this one just make him look garish.

Even if he doesn't make the Worlds team, Jason is a treasure. His skating is precious. Vincent just isn't there yet, sorry. He skates like a junior.

Ballads with intense lyrics or lyrics in a different language do not make for good programs if you do not perform to the music. There are so many different styles of music and pieces that would be so wonderful for skating. Yet, the lack of good music choices across all events is concerning.
