Congrats to Hanna Harrell! Yay! I've liked her for some time now:
https://www.goldenskate.com/forum/s...US-Regionals&p=1549204&viewfull=1#post1549204
but it was more due to the non-technical aspect like her infectious smiles and the joy she brings to her skating really grabbed my heart. Now I'm pretty surprised and impressed by the giant leap she has made on the technical side as well! Wishing her luck at the nationals! I'm familiar with Pooja and Angelina but I don't remember the second place finisher Jenna, gotta check out her videos.

Also congrats to Hannah Miller for willing the senior sectionals with a decent total score, I hope it'll be a great comeback season for her.

Thanks for all the work, Doris.

Three of the top four men here skate at 7k; I wonder if the top four go to Nats?

?

Only Ben Jalovick is listed at Centennial 7k, none of the others.

And yes, the top 4 always go to Nationals (unless one withdraws from injury)

Thanks @Chemistry66, you always come to the rescue with stats.

I should have been clearer. Although Tomoki and Jordan represent other skating clubs, they train at the 7K rink with Kori and Rohene. In fact, the "Centennial7k" SC is a fairly new listing (at least for me) and I wonder how long it has been an accredited club. Ben J. used to represent UDel.

Congrats to all the top 4, especially to Ben for sticking with it after not making the cut last year!

It looks like Ben represented UDel until this year. He didn't qualify for Nationals last year at Eastern Sectionals. So this is the first year under the Centennial7K SC club.

ETA: Centennial7k has been around for a while, since 1976, according to their website (http://www.centennialskatingclub.org/).

It's not unusual for skaters to stick to their initial/home clubs even if they train elsewhere. Maia Shibutani, for example, skates for the Skating Club of New York, even though she hasn't lived in NY in probably 15 years. And I don't think there's a geographical requirement even to represent a certain club. Ashley Cain also represents SCNY, though she lives in Dallas.
