It is a little early for a post mortem thread but what could we do better next year to make the competition more enjoyable for you?

Hi Doris

Many major event-related discussions here end up being 50+ pages long. A good share of these posts are instant reactions to performances. Examples are:

"Nooooooo"
"Slay"
"Yas queen" - all the same, posted multiple times by multiple users.

I suggest having a separate chat thread for reactions and another one for discussions. There are wonderful, productive posts from users who know the rules well, from users who spot technical details, users who do play-by-play, users who spot interesting details in the arena. There are legitimate questions asked and these often get overlooked (as do their answers) because there is so much chatter with little information.

Doris thanks for your hard work on this site. Well I've noticed that the Men's SP order was mentioned in the State of US Men's skating rather than the actual competition thread. It creates confusion and so much redundancy. Also as pearly stated, if there is a thread on practice reports people should not talk about everything but. It's time consuming to wade through all that verbiage which has nothing at all to do with the thread.
