I think younger group is lesser talent-wise with exception of Sarnovskaya.
It's always like that - some years are weaker.

Besides, there is always a chance some unknown 11yo Alina Zagitova is slowly rising up somewhere in Izhevsk, hidden from our eyes. 😉

will that 3lz-2A combo count for Lidia she did full step out after the lutz?
She has competed a lot during the last 4 weeks, this was a really good comp for her only 1 mistake the whole thing:cheer2:

Last year there were Bazyliuk, Lukashova and Kostyleva in the younger group...
Yes but you are looking at them from the lens of this season, last season they didn't have any quads either. Sofia, Valeria and Daria have the same tech content those 3 had last season, Alisa and Katya are a year younger than what those 3 were last season and have the same content as well. Marina is the only one little weaker in tech content but even she is upping her game for this competition.

I see clear gap skating skills wise and overall talent between this and last year's younger groups though.
