Liza T. - Ara Gevorgyan - "Artsakh" - wouldn't be a radical change for her, but I just like the music and it's not overused like some pieces

I remember Sasha (the 3rd Russian at SLC) skating to that music and Victoria Moors using it at the American Cup in 2013 for her floor routine. It would work SO well for her.

For Elena Radionova, I'd have her skate to 'Csárdás'. Very Mao-esque, but it's such a playful and vibrant piece that doesn't sound so juniorish.

Her Nationals SP showed that she can skate with mesmerising power, and therefore I think she can pull these off. And since I absolutely adore these pieces, that is saying something coming from me.

Depending on the short dance pattern for next year, I'd like to see Kaitlin Hawayek and Jean-Luc Baker skate to something like Pride and Prejudice theme or Clair de Lune. Or maybe they need to show their versatility with something more modern and upbeat at least for the next year or so, But I think that dramatic lyrical Romeo and Juliet piece they picked this year was a perfect entre to Seniors. Maybe the Pride and Prejudice or Clair de Lune could be kept for the Olympic year.

I wish someone would use some James Horner soundtracks - "Sneakers" or "Gorky Park" would make some interesting music.

Joe Hisaishi produces most of Studio Ghibli's music.
Bear McCreary = Battlestar Galactica, Outlander, Walking Dead etc
Cloud Atlas = one of the most underappreciated movies with an outstanding score.
Alexander Desplat = The King's Speech, Argo, HP: DH Part 1, Benjamin Button

These composers are really good and I do hope other people would consider their music. I would have put Ramin Djawadi in the list as well but Brezina's use of the Game of Thrones music for his SP is a nod to Djawadi.

Although Gold is not my favourite, but she is an skater I was really interested to see grow fully into her potentials, a real power skater with possible grace and beauty, modernism and dynamism that is the US culture that can do wonders for this sport. I feel some aspect of her natural ease seems to suppressed and artificially packaged.

The music with lyric rule is wonderful for skater like her but she need to skate stuff that has never been in Lori Nichol's CD library. Golden rule for her: If it is in Lori's library... avoid avoid!!!!

She can benefit from power vocals, something like Florence and the Machine, or how about Christina Perri: Jar of heart. Something antsy, since it seems her natural skating style. Not all skaters need to be groomed to classic artistic skater. I for one, appreciate the natural instinct, raw, power qualities in some young skaters style I have always liked, it is natural, it is instinctual, it is sports - a humanity subject, it need to take in what makes us human, individual, unique beings. Too much polish in my opinion can ruin something rich and original about the skater, that is why I vastly prefer Anna's raw power and unrefined power skating to someone like Satoko's over rehearsed refiness. I don't think Ballet is the best approach to figure skating either, because it precisely ruin these aspect of their expressions. It is as backward as to say the only way to become artist is that you need to learn to sketch and draw like the renaissance period right at start.

Agreed, she needs to stay away from Lori period. She could possibly skate to oh idk maybe one of taylor swift slow songs.

Also see Hawayek/Baker doing the theme from Forest Gump. Love their up and down knee action with Romeo and Juliet and this could be replicated with Forest Gump theme. But I'm sure Krylova will want to diversify them, and have them do something totally different next year. That's good-build your repertoire. But that lyrical, romantic stuff is your bread and butter!
