What a great men's comp!!! Right now Ilia and Vincent are at 10 aggregate which would earn the 13 or under needed for three spots for next year. I think Ilia might be able to overtake Kazuki with his tech but that La La Land LP is so damn wonderful so not sure.

Men really brought performance today. Except for the one who did not get his chance. Poor Donovan. He was having such a good season and he was robbed of his chance but the ridiculous rules that separate a skater from his skates when flying. This should NEVER happen again. Security people in all countries should know this and acknowledge it and change the rules so that it does not.

Wow, Deniss is only 22? I have the feeling he is around forever.

At 2014 junior Worlds he was an adorable little boy with a bowlcut and he looked about 10 or so. Then he took the ice and became a seasoned performer.
Being so talented and coming from a small country for sure gave him many occasions to skate.

What an enjoyable competition! The only thing I'm not happy about is Samoilov's nightmare skate. I was rooting for him and really wanted to see him in the FS.
But all the other guys were super. May they skate just as well in the free!

Even though I miss Yuzuru, Nathan and Kolyada, I gotta say this was a glorious event!

I read that he got his skates eventually... I hope he's not injured.

An all Japanese podium I don´t know. But there was an all Russian podium in ladies last year.

And there has been an all US podium in ladies before as well (1991, I believe)

I just watched Shoma's skate again - executed so well. And his elation at the end was so great to see, it made me laugh out loud.

Shoma can get this title . I think he just needs 3 quads and 2 3A. Need not go for more. His 4Lo has been quite consistent . Either 4F or 4Lo and 2 4T . He should scrap the 4S. If he goes clean judges will put him no1 on PCS and he should seal the title.

What a flabbergastingly great men's short! I tuned in on Peacock tv just as Camden was taking the ice, and so glad I got to see him hit it out of the park and have that wonderful moment - and then nearly every performance I saw from there on was a season's or all-time best, - or, if not perfect, an admirable show of artistry, guts and emotion. Mind blown! Deniss! Daniel! All three Japanese men! All three Americans! As good as I thought Ilia was, I didn't know he was this good yet. And Adam! It was so, so good. When has the overall level of men's skating ever been this good and the top six this crazy?

I interpreted the question to ask if there has ever been an all-Japanese podium. There have been other sweeps by the US and Russia, at least.
