Totally agree!!! Can't wait. I really love Mukhametzyanova/Mironov's FS, this could turn out to be very impressive. Mukhortova/Dmitry Evgeniev already show so much technical skill. Together with Pepeleva/Pleshkov, they complete the next generation Mozer Team quite nicely.

Vislobokova/Bryukhanov showed two programmes that really fits them. I'm seriously super excited to see all of them...and envy everyone who goes to Chelyabinsk.

Too bad that Mukhortova / Evgeniev was replaced at the JGP Russia but the good thing is that Julia Artemieva / Mikhail Nazarychev, who replaced them, looked very interesting and promising pair also.

Here is her 3A singled out: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...905_160849.gif

Love the way she cuts into the jump, no pre- or post rotation on the blade in my eyes.

Nice article on Sof'ya 'unbelievable' performance: https://m.sportsdaily.ru/articles/uc...-tuktamyshevoj

At the start of the ice season, another student of Eteri Tutberidze works wonders during the junior competitions.

12-year-old Muscovite Sof'ya Akat'yeva, a pupil of Khrustalniy, performed two triple axels in her free program during the championship of the capital, as well as cascades of triple Lutz / triple Toeloop and triple Toeloop / triple Salchow, triple Rittberger and triple Flip.

With this miracle program, 12 year old Sof'ya won first place in the overall standings of the singles competitions.

As you can see in the video, Akat'eva performed all her jumps after a serious break at the very beginning of her skate. The girl intended to fulfil her crown cascade of the quadruple + triple Toeloop, which she had learned by the age of 11, but she tore out of her quad. The fall did not stop her in the rest of the routine, moreover, Sonya masterfully rebuilt the program right on the go, which led to the “Axel Feast”.

Triksel is considered the trademark of Lisa Tuktamysheva - the world champion learned this element throughout the entire conscious part of her career and very often frustrated herself. Of course, Elizabeth’s performance is considered to be unprecedentedly confident, she takes off to a tremendous height, but she the Triksel has given her great difficulty.

And now the children do two triple Axels in one program! Pupils of Eteri Tutberidze brought figure skating to a completely different level - so this is also a step forward for the school. Until now, the students of Tutberidze just had no triple Axel.

As for the two Trikels in one program, here you can only recall the Japanese Grand Prix champion Riku Kihira, who performed a doublet at the home NHK Trophy-2018 (Japanese Grand Prix).

Sof'ya Akat'yeva is well known to the mass audience for her performances in the project “Ice Age. Children" Only in our time, skaters manage to combine amateur and show career at the age of 11!

Akat'yeva appeared on television in the team of Roman Kostomarov in a variety of ways. For example, she was the heroine of The Matrix and repeated on ice the legendary stunt choreography from the film:

    This is ... unbelievable

By the way, during the championship of Moscow Akat'yeva made the most powerful comeback in the whole tournament. After the short program, she was only in fifth - it is extremely rare to take off from this position to reach first place.

Sof'ya thanking her trainers for their work with her, their continuous support: https://www.instagram.com/p/B2CtNLVJMHm

And she and the other medalist got a nice trolley for their future travels abroad.

The other Sof'ya, Samodelkina really seems to have grown taller, perhaps the reason for no new 'ultra-si' elements, maintaining present level and keeping stable performances are more important during a growth spurt.

It seems Akatieva will skate at the 1st stage of Russian Cup which will be held on 18–22 September. Samodelkina is on the preliminary entry list also.
