Im so excited for Canadian ladies skating right now. The senior ladies event at the national championships was actually awesome this year, which is something I havent been able to say in a while. The three ladies mentioned here, Osmond, Daleman and Chartrand, were all on the podium. All three are under 18, and all of them are age eligable for Sochi (I believe). This is the resurgance that Canadian ladies skating needed
At this rate, Canada is going to be thisclose to getting a third ladies spot assuming all the current first through sixth girls stay in those positions (if in different order). Daleman and Chartrand's placements will total 15.
Rough for Courtney relative to what she had planned but very good all the same.
I really wish she had stayed with John Nicks. What she needs desperately is refinement and I feel like he could have helped her with that, but then who knows her reasons for splitting from him.
I think she will be first in the standings for now.
Radianova is a joy to watch. She did have some slight bobbles on a few jumps but she has something very special. it's impossibly to take your eyes off of her. She also really preforms to the music which is so great especially given that she is only 13.
